Hi Everybody! I’m Jim Gribble, the new Affiliate Program Manager here at The Healthy Back Institute. First of all, don’t be alarmed, Dennys is still here at the company and will continue to work with our Joint Venture partners. But from now on, I’m going to be the main point of contact for our valued affiliates.

First, a little background about myself… I spent the majority of my professional life as a ‘traditional’ direct marketer. For 15 years or so, I was on staff at some of the largest and most successful direct-to-consumer companies. I launched and managed a number of consumer products that were mostly sold through direct mail campaigns. In fact, I spent a number of years promoting health-related publications and products.

Eventually, I started my own company called LinkProfits, where I have provided affiliate program management services since 1999. So I’m pretty experienced with affiliate marketing as well.

Spring Heal-n-Soothe Contest Results

First a big thank you to all those who participated in the spring Heal-n-Soothe push. We managed to give away just shy of 2,000 bottles, well exceeding our goals.

We learned so much from all of our new creative that we rolled out as well as our split testing. More on that in a second…

But First… the commission surprise…

Dennys didn’t want anyone to be left out of the rewards, even if you have a relatively small audience, so he decided to reward those affiliates who made efforts but didn’t quite hit the minimum threshold to receive a bonus.

Since the minimum threshold was 50 bottles to receive the $100 bonus, we gave a $25 bonus to anyone who did 10 bottles or more. This is, of course, in addition to the 100% commission and the ongoing recurring commissions that these customers generated for all of you.

Juicy conversion findings…

1 – During this push we tested this banner (shown at reduced size) to cold traffic and it has been getting a great CTR and also a solid conversion rate. I highly recommend you put this up on your site to replace any banner you’re currently using on your site, blog, etc… to promote Heal-n-Soothe.

3 – We were extremely surprised with how well this advertorial performed. And the click throughs from the special email (pasted below) we used were tremendous and the conversion rate was very impressive. I highly recommend plugging the email below into your Auto-responder series. It delivers great content and will be a nice source of income for you. As with the banners above, the links in the email below contain the placeholder (YOURAFFILIATECODE) which needs to be replaced with your affiliate code.

Even though this push is over, the evergreen commissions on this offer are still very nice so keep on plugging this offer whenever you can.

January 2011 HealnSoothe Contest

January Heal-n-Soothe Contest [100% commission]

Hey guys, hope everyone has had an awesome new year.

We are looking to start the year off with a bang so we’re
having a contest on our Heal-n-Soothe All Natural anti-
inflammatory.

We are offering some really sweet bonuses on top of the
standard $5 commission for giving away a free trial bottle.

Here are the bonuses…

August Commissions & HNS contest results

September 2nd, 2010

Hey guys, the results are in!  We had another fantastic month due to your efforts.

A huge thank you to all who participated by mailing out to their lists.

I will keep the bonus recipients names anonymous as per their requests.  The bonuses will be added to your respective checks.

You guys moved 1761 bottles of HealnSoothe.  You will see the bulk of the commissions from this when people get dinged for their first paid bottle towards the end of September.

As for all August commissions…

I’ve closed out the month of August for accounting in Infusionsoft so your August commissions will show as paid if you look at your  current(September) ledger even though you won’t receive your payment until the 15th of July.  You will receive a payment if you earned $25 or more in commissions.

I’d love to be able to tell you exactly how much you earned  but Infusionsoft does not yet have that capability.  Therefore, you’ll have to log in for yourself and find out.

To see what you earned go to ‘Commissions Generated’ link in your affiliate area and select last months date range(1st-31st).  The ‘Net Commissions Earned’ is the amount you will be receiving on the 15th.

New Re-Brandable PDF for affiliates

Hey guys, I’ve just put the finishing touches on a Brandable PDF that you could use to give away to your current email list as a nice bonus and/or build your own list on your website via opt-in by giving this away.

The PDF is an executable file that prompts you to enter your affiliate login/username in a field that will populate your affiliate link all throughout  the PDF so when someone clicks on any of the links, they’ve just clicked on your affiliate link and you get credit for any purchases or leads that arise from the PDF.

This is great way to get something viral out there with your branding on it.  You can send this to friends, family, clients, subscribers, etc… and encourage them to pass it around if they like the information in it.

Once you’ve got the rebrander open, watch this little video I’ve put together to show you how easy it is and how it should look when done properly.  Its very easy… (or read below video for written instructions if you can’t view it)

Right Click and save this executable file (.exe) on your computer.  Open it up and it will ask you to merge your Aff.Code(your infusionsoft login/username), your.name(your first and/or last name), and your.web.site.url(your website URL.

By replacing these with your information, you will be re-branding the PDF with your affiliate link, your name and your website.

Then offer this to your current email list as a nice freebie bonus or use this to build your own list via opt-in on your website.

We have no choice but to do this because we go in the hole way too much on this offer and we can’t afford to continue doing so.  We needed to massage the numbers a little bit to make this work for you and for us.

IMPORTANT: Affiliate Update 11/23/09 – Please Read

Hey guys, how’s it going?  Hope all is well and you’re enjoying the increase in commissions the new book front end
process is providing.

I’ve got some “Housekeeping type of stuff” to discuss today that you need to know.

First off, we’ve been a little slow getting payments out this month.  Your October commission check went out this past
Friday the 20th.  You should be receiving it today or in the next day or two.  If you are an international partner,
you’ve already received your commissions via paypal.

Also, because of the large increase in partners and number of active affiliates, Starting November, we will be having a
$25 minimum commission requirement in order to process a payment. Sending $5 checks wasn’t a problem when we were much smaller but now thanks to you, we’ve grown exponetially.

Beginning November, all affiliate payments will be mailed or paid via Paypal on the 15th of every month.

You’ll notice I’ve been adding some quick links here in the affiliate blog to some things that are not so easily accessible through infusionsoft.  I will be adding and updating this slowly as its a big undertaking.

We know infusionsoft is a little more complicated to navigate through if you’re a new user coming from clickbank,
1shoppingcart, Aweber, etc…  Therefore, I just created and added a new video inside the affiliate resource area that will help you navigate through the resources in there.

Hello Affiliates and Partners!

Welcome to our new affiliate blog.  This will be a place full of resources and updates for you.
