Back Inflammation

Do you suffer from back pain and wonder if you have excess inflammation in your body? Inflammation is a natural result of pain and injury. However, you may be asking yourself how much inflammation is too much and what exactly is it doing to my body? We will discuss four ways to reduce back inflammation in the body.

Ice and Heat Therapy

You probably have heard this before, but we find that there is a lot of confusion regarding ice and heat. Some people use ice and heat at the wrong times. Typically you want to use ice within the first 48 hours of injury or swelling. After that you want to use heat. Regular heat helps, but deep penetrating heat is best. You can get deep penetrating heat from Far infrared heat.

Dietary Changes

A lot of people do not know that what you eat can be contributing to your pain. In a fast paced world it is easy to get caught up with eating fast food, junk food and outright unhealthy food. Have you ever heard of the saying “You are what you eat?” Well- this is so true- especially if you have inflammation in the body. Be sure to reduce, or better yet get rid of foods such as dairy, wheat, gluten, sugar and deep fried foods from your diet.  This treatment for inflammation is probably one of the most important things you can do for yourself.

Natural Medicines

Instead of taking dangerous pain killers, you want to consume as much natural herbs and foods which contain systemic proteolytic enzymes. Herbs like ginger and turmeric are excellent inflammation fighters. Homeopathic medicines such as arnica are excellent for reducing inflammation. Enzymes such as Bromelain and Papain which are found in Heal-n-Soothe, reduce inflammation naturally.  Heal-n-Soothe is one of the most highly effective natural anti inflammatories on the market.

Mind Body Techniques

Research has also proven that negative emotions and a negative state of mind can cause the body to release Cortisol and other hormones that actually create inflammation in the body. It’s important to take time throughout your day to release negative stress and emotions. Things like deep breathing exercises, relaxation, massage therapy, taking a walk without negative stress can help you. The more positive state of mind you can have, the better off you will be.

There are other treatments for inflammation reduction, but we have found the above treatments to be the most effective and offer the best results.
