My Experience With The Ancient Healing Powers of Qigong

As a massage therapist and healing arts practitioner I noticed that I was loosing my touch, my mojo.
In other words, I was getting drained of energy in my sessions and was on the way to becoming burned out. But something happened in 2005 that changed this negative into a positive—I bought and started to use the Spring Forest Qigong For Healing Program.
In my Physical Therapy training nothing was taught about the body’s energy systems, as they are viewed and understood in Acupuncture or Qigong. Like most people, I stayed away from what I did not understand. But here I am 15 years later admitting to you that it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life!

I am writing you today to tell you that not understanding now to best use and build your own energy, may allow your mind and body to decline and lead to a life of suffering mentally, emotionally or physically.
In my own practice, I stated to burn out and I needed a boost of something to help me rekindle my passion for helping others. I was becoming exhausted in every way and knew I had to do something.
Then one day I started researching “Energy Healing” without knowing anything about it. After looking into dozens of modalities, I finally narrowed my focus on the ancient Chinese art of Qigong. With 3000 years of documentation, it seemed to make sense. And with millions of Chinese practicing it daily and being among the most healthy humans in the world… difficult to argue!
One of my criteria was to find a master from China to learn and study under. While I am sure there are many qualified Americans practicing Qigong, from a professional point of view I wanted knowledge from someone who not only understood the topic, but who was raised in its environment.
I found all I was looking for in Master Chunyi Lin, a Chinese who immigrated to the US in 1994. Since English is his second language, he speaks slowly. You know what? This is great because he uses simple words to explain a very complex idea of Energy as Medicine.
What I personally learned from Spring Forest Qigong is only a small example of how it can help everyone. In fact, it can slow, reverse and at times cure so many of the health issues we face every day, such as: stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, hypertension, chronic pain.
Now I am not one to completely change my lifestyle just to help my health. I do what I can, while maintaining the lifestyle I have chosen for myself. And this is where the Spring Force Qigong program was perfect for me. Why? Because the program didn’t require a lot of time and was easy to learn.
I was able to learn how to detect my own energy blockages. And as Master Lin says, within 5 minutes or less I can begin to “harvest qi”. In other words, to build that vital energy that is so necessary to feel good and be healthy! I did what I was instructed to do, and I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome I feel.
Qigong is also beneficial for back pain sufferers, such as you. How? By improving your breathing. This method alone improves the oxygen ratio in your blood. The blood carries nutrients to the body, the muscles, the tendons and relaxes them. And the expansion of the ribcage while breathing in the special Qigong way, opening the spaces between the rib, reducing the number of impingement or pinched nerves in the spine.
What does all this mean in day-to-day terms? A clearer mind, improved mobility, stronger concentration and memory, improved mind/body connection, and a feeling over improved overall vitality.
