I've had severe back issues for at least 10 years. I've had to go for epidural treatments frequently. Unfortunately, the cortisone used in the treatment exascerbated my diabetes. Then I met an old friend who had been bedriddenm but is now walking. He suggested decompression which I tried. It worked wonders, but is very expensive and time consuming. When I saw the Teeter inversion table I decided to buy one. It was so much less expensive than the decompression and allowed me to use it on my own time. I use the teeter now daily, once in the a.m. and once in the evening. Initially it caused pain when I stood up, but after reading an article about gradually adjusting your body to the vertical position, I changed the way I use the machine. I now completely invert, but spend several minutes gradually lessening the angle. By the time I am standing, my pain is completely gone. I don't know how I lived without it all these years.

To make along story short. I after hurting myself last summer (2009) was told I had three bulging disks. After going to the doctor and then to a back doctor; I was told to take pain pills and that surgery would correct my condition. Then I went to a decompression consultation and was told the lenght of time and cost which I did not have enough of I went to a Chiropactor. He suggested (after telling me there are no quick fixes) to look into inversion therapy. After some long reasearch I purchased a Teeter EP950.
After two and a half weeks (I was not fully inverted) I felt my disks slip back in, not pop back in but slip back in. I also have a some wonderful side affects that I did not count on. One of those was that my sciatica pain went away. I use it every day for only a few minutes and only go fully inverted once in awhile. My wifes hips are no longer giving her a problem. WE LOVE OUR TABLE
