Top 10 Secrets to Younger Looking Skin

Yes, younger looking skin is key to boosting physical attractiveness, but even more importantly it is a powerful outward sign of your internal health.

younger looking older coupleSo before I give you the 10 most powerful ways to achieve younger looking skin no matter what your age, two BIG MYTHS that need to be busted:

Myth 1: “It is a waste to try to look younger than you really are.” Fact is, today many people look and feel much OLDER than they really are due to a range of bad habits that can be reversed with the steps below.

Myth 2: “You can’t go back … you can’t reverse the ‘aging process.’” This is just defeated thinking and 100% NOT TRUE. Increase your dedication to even a few of the steps below and I will guarantee you will look and feel younger … but again, what that really means is you will look and feel your age, which is younger than what most typically allow themselves to believe is possible!

So what are the real secrets to younger looking skin (and the internal health it reflects?)

Well it is NOT all the plastic surgery, chemical peels, and other Band-Aid approaches that are so popular … but that (let’s be honest) often LOOK like Band-Aids on those who choose them and do nothing for permanent younger looking skin.

Instead, here are the proven steps …

10 Most Powerful Secrets for Younger Skin

#1: Sun Protection

Avoid long hours in the hot sun. While the sun is necessary for good health and should be your primary source of vitamin D, you must protect your skin if working or playing outside for an extended length of time. Like many things in life, the key to enjoying the sun is moderation.

Wear loose-fitting, long sleeved shirts and a wide brimmed hat to avoid getting burned. Some sunscreens contain chemicals that can actually be harmful to your health. So when necessary choose a broad-spectrum, chemical-free sunscreen that contains an SPF of at least 15.

2: Balanced Diet

Take a good look at your eating habits. Good eating habits result in a healthy body… and beautiful skin. Keeping a low-fat and low-sugar diet slows down skin aging.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to help reduce stress, delay aging, and strengthen your immune system.

For an in-depth guide to the foods to eat and those to avoid to look and feel younger, do not miss The 7 WORST Foods that Cause Early Aging.

#3: Moisturize

Use a good moisturizer regularly. Moisturizing helps your skin maintain its natural moisture levels. It seals in the water already in your skin or slowly releases water into your skin to protect it from harsh weather.

#4: Exfoliate Your Skin (here’s a simple recipe!)

Exfoliate to help remove dead skin cells that weigh down and suffocate aging skin. This improves skin moisture and boosts the activity of skin-protecting antioxidants. There are many exfoliation products on the market, but here’s a simple recipe for exfoliating your skin you can do at home:

Mix together equal amounts of coarsely ground dry oatmeal (uncooked) and ground cinnamon. A few teaspoons will usually suffice for your face. Add a few drops of honey then rub the mixture gently into your skin with your fingertips in circular motions. Rinse with lukewarm water. This works great at a fraction of the cost of commercial preparations.

#5: Sleep

Get plenty of quality sleep. It’s a must for younger looking skin and overall health. Getting at least 8 hours nightly is an old and faithful beauty tip that encourages vibrant, younger skin. While sleeping, your body goes into healing mode, repairing body tissues and organs, including your skin.

If you do not get a great night’s sleep EVERY night, learn about the top-recommended natural sleep aid and try it free …

#6: Avoid Stress

Take control over the stress in your life. Your skin is directly connected to your emotions and stress level. Avoiding and relieving stress may be one of the most effective skin care remedies available.

Some skin conditions are particularly sensitive to stress, including acne, eczema, psoriasis and cold sores. You may have noticed that breakouts tend to occur just before an important event. Then, when you go on a relaxing vacation your skin condition magically improves.

#7: Limit Alcohol

Don’t overdo it. Too much alcohol can damage blood vessels over time, leading to permanently flushed skin or visible blood vessels on your skin’s surface. Alcohol can make your body and skin dehydrated, leaving your skin looking old and tired.

Here’s a helpful tip: Have a non-alcoholic drink like soda water or watery fruit juice in between the alcoholic ones to help your body rehydrate.

#8: Drink Water

Drink plenty of water. It not only makes the inside of your body more efficient, it also allows healthy skin to shine through. Water is the building block in every cell in the human body.

When you are properly hydrated, wrinkles appear softened and are less noticeable. Skin is clearer and more radiant because the water you drink carries out toxins from your body.

#9: Avoid Smoking

Throw away the cigarettes. No matter what your age or how long you have smoked, quitting today WILL boost your health and appearance in a big way quickly! Smoking makes your skin look older and contributes to wrinkles. It narrows the tiny blood vessels in your skin, decreasing blood flow.

This decreased blood flow depletes your skin of the oxygen and nutrients necessary to maintain healthy skin. Smoking also damages the collagen and fibers that give your skin its strength and elasticity. So stop smoking today.

#10: Exercise (It only takes 4 minutes per day!)

Exercise regularly. It’s a key part of a healthy lifestyle, and it helps keep your skin looking younger. Physical activity increases circulation, which in turn boosts your skin’s ability to cleanse itself of toxins and absorb nutrients. Exercise is also one of the best ways to reduce stress.

Now, I know most people realize the importance of exercise … but the BIG problem is staying motivated to do it. Well guess what? There is an extremely effective exercise program available to you that doesn’t require costly equipment or gym memberships, and that only takes 4 minutes per day!

This NO EXCUSES exercise program has been raved about in the media and has many thousands of people … even those who believed they would never exercise again … lose weight, get fit, and improve their physical appearance and internal health by leaps and bounds, and I GUARANTEE it will work for you too…

Extra Tip: Smile!

Keep a smile on your face. Your face tends to conform to the position or expression you carry most of the time. Frowning is more likely to produce lines and wrinkles. A smiling, pleasant, relaxed expression will help keep you looking younger – and make you more pleasant to be around as a bonus.

Back Pain Cream …

The Best & The Worst (Including Those Containing a Potentially Life-Threatening Ingredient!)

Chronic pain impacts 116 million Americans — that’s more than the number of people who suffer from diabetes, heart disease and cancer combined.[i] Back pain is by far the most common type of pain, with 27 percent of those who responded to a National Institute of Health Statistics survey noting that back pain was a problem for them.[ii]

back pain creamIf you’re among them, you’re probably all too familiar with the tenderness, pain and stiffness in your back, which can make it difficult to stand up, walk and even sit comfortably.

The pain can become so severe that it spreads into your buttocks and legs, causing weakness when you walk and flaring up any time you attempt to carry on with your daily activities.

If you live with back pain, you’ll most likely easily understand why it is the leading cause of disability in Americans under 45 years old — and this isn’t only due to the physical toll it takes. Living with chronic pain is a heavy emotional burden to bear, and as such those with low back pain are nearly five times as likely to suffer from serious psychological distress compared to those without it.[iii]

It goes without saying that pain relief is, therefore, literally a lifeline for those with chronic back pain, and many opt for back pain cream to help soothe and relieve their discomfort.

Depending on which type you choose, however, you may or may not actually find relief — and some may even carry significant risks.

Popular Back Pain Creams Only Distract You from Your Pain

The best types of pain relief are not only skin deep; they work to address the foundational causes of your pain so your body can truly heal.

Unfortunately, this is not the way most back pain creams on the market work, and as a result many such products at your drug store will only temporarily cover up your pain until the application wears off.

Take Icy Hot cream or BenGay, for instance. These contain methyl salicylate and large amounts of menthol, which essentially act as “counterirritants.” While the menthol cools your skin, the methyl salicylate warms it, causing a cooling-warming sensation on your skin that basically only distracts you from the deeper pain beneath.

Menthol in and of itself is a useful ingredient, as it increases blood flow and circulation to the area it’s applied to, which helps eliminate waste in your blood and speed healing.

HOWEVER, most back pain creams contain far too much menthol, so much so that it can cause a burning sensation on your skin, fingers and eyes (not to mention make your fingers smelly).

Methyl salicylate, on the other hand, can be incredibly dangerous and even deadly in certain circumstances.

Products That Contain Methyl Salicylate Can be Deadly

Methyl salicylate is a compound similar to aspirin that’s added to many deep-heating creams used to relieve sore muscles and back pain. Also known as oil of wintergreen, the chemical can be deadly if consumed orally, especially by small children, but can also be toxic when applied topically to your skin.

In 2007, a 17-year-old athlete died after using a popular pain-relieving cream, and high levels of methyl salicylate were found in her body.

The ingredient is particularly dangerous when applied in excess or with chronic use, but it’s possible for your body to absorb a higher than normal amount of the chemical even when you use the product as directed. For instance, exercise and heat can both increase the chemical’s rate of absorption (a particularly concerning association since these creams are often used by athletes).

When used in excess, methyl salicylate may lead to convulsions and can cause brain regions that control breathing to become overstimulated, leading to hyperventilation and nervous-system problems. If you have any of these products around your home, be sure to keep them out of the reach of children. Just one teaspoon of 98% methyl salicylate contains as much salicylate as nearly 90 baby aspirins — which is more than four times the toxic dose for a 22-pound child.[iv]

Incidentally, methyl salicylate was actually first registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1972 — as a pesticide.[v]

Is this really an ingredient you feel good about rubbing into your skin?

Is There a Safer Back Pain Cream?

Given the potential side effects, you may find the risks of methyl salicylate-containing creams to be too high. Or, you may desire a pain-relief option that will do more than just mask your symptoms; you’re looking for real relief.

Such a back pain cream does exist, and it’s called Rub on Relief. This is a broad-spectrum homeopathic pain cream that was formulated to address many of the foundational reasons why you are in pain.

While giving you the simplicity and fast-acting relief you expect from a pain cream — as the name says, you simply rub it on for relief — Rub on Relief does so without methyl salicylate, and it contains no other questionable ingredients either, including NO parabens, petrolatum, paraffin, mineral oil, toluene, artificial colors, preservatives or NSAID drugs of any kind.

What is does contain is a synergistic blend of homeopathic ingredients, each carefully selected to address pain and inflammation from a slightly differently angle:

  1. Belladonna: A plant that impacts your body’s nervous system, belladonna is used in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease as well as for pain relief
  1. Ignatia: A plant that has been used by Chinese doctors for centuries to help calm the nerves and relieve pain due to emotional upset. There is often an emotional component to back pain, and it’s widely known that relieving psychological pain helps improve physical pain
  1. Rhus Tox: Useful for easing a variety of inflammatory symptoms, Rhus tox has been used for over 200 years for complaints back pain, arthritic pain and much more
  1. Phosphorus: Helps reduce the burning sensation in your muscles by regulating the nerves that send “pain” message to your brain
  1. Naja: Relieves inflammation and pain in nerve tissue
  1. Lachesis Mutus: Has a blood-thinning, or anticoagulant, function, which enhances blood flow and facilitates the healing process by hastening the removal of toxins from your blood
  1. Menthol: A balanced amount of menthol gives you relief without the burning other creams cause
  1. MSM: Delivers vital sulphur to your connective tissue to form healthy bonds in your cells and joints for faster healing and pain relief

Whereas with most back pain creams the mechanism of action is the cooling or heating sensation, Rub on Relief does not rely on cool or heat sensations for effectiveness.

Because of the small amount of menthol in the formula, you may feel a slight cooling sensation immediately after applying Rub on Relief, but the active ingredients keep working long after the cooling sensation disappears. Plus, this homeopathic cream has no known side effects, even when used on many different body parts at the same time (not to mention, it has a 100% success rate to date).

If back pain has been holding you back from living your life fully, know that there are other safer and more effective options to the popular back pain creams at your drug store. You deserve to be safely pain free — and you can achieve this reality using all-natural means.

Why Is Arsenic Hiding In These Popular Foods?

More Dangerous Chemicals Hiding in Your Food!

First, it was a flame retardant hiding in your soft drinks. Now, health experts are wondering why arsenic is hiding in your rice and fruit juices too.

Recent Consumer Reports testing discovered double-digit amounts of arsenic and lead above federal standards in a portion of the 88 samples of apple and grape juices it tested.

Twenty-five percent of juice samples exceeded federal standards (5 parts-per-billion for drinking water), and 10 percent exceeded “safe” levels of arsenic. The percentages may not scare you, but these facts should:

For one, much of the arsenic detected in the fruit drink report was inorganic, certified by the EPA as a Group A human carcinogen.

Just as important, federal lead and arsenic standards do exist for drinking water, yet none have been established for fruit drinks.

The Consumers Union has called for a legally binding 3 parts-per-billion standard for arsenic and 5 parts-per-billion standard for lead.

No Federal Standards for Arsenic?

Unfortunately, the same lack of standards also applies to the amount of arsenic and lead in rice, prompting even more concern in a study of some 230 pregnant, New Hampshire women.

Researchers determined the amount of arsenic a pregnant women consumes in the average daily serving of rice (a half-cup) exposes her to the same amount of arsenic contained in the max limit of 10 parts-per-billion in public drinking water.

What’s more, rice-based cereals are among the first solid foods a baby eats, and exposure to arsenic has been connected with serious health problems, ranging from infant mortality to an increased risk of death from lung cancer.

Why is Arsenic So Persistent in Our Foods?

You may wondering why arsenic contaminates many of our foods. The answer, linked to rice, is pretty easy to understand.

For one, most American rice is produced in 5 states (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri) on land once used to grow cotton, where arsenic-based pesticides were applied for decades.

Secondly, arsenic is easily and unusually absorbed by rice from soils, then it “hides” in the grains you eat. In fact, rice grown in America ranks among the highest in the world for levels of inorganic arsenic, according to a Scottish researcher who detected amounts greater than 10 parts-per-billion in rice milk sold in the UK nearly four years ago.

How to Prevent Memory Loss

5 Key Steps to Take Now

prevent memory loss
Will you suffer from memory loss…
or help prevent memory loss now?

When it comes to memory loss, you really only have two choices: hope for a future medical miracle to heal your brain, or start taking action now to prevent memory loss in the first place.

Brain health and mental well-being result from simple, daily choices. Memory loss often results from a lifestyle that continually stresses and chemically challenges an undernourished brain, according to researcher Dana Demas.

If you want to prevent memory loss and protect your brain power, here are five things you can do right now:

1. Get a Good Night’s Sleep

A solid night of sleep is the best gift you can give your brain. Without sleep, your brain doesn’t recharge. Instead of sorting through your daily memories over several hours of restful REM sleep, on a short night your brain tries to prioritize memory sorting and preservation in just a few quick minutes. No wonder things start to slip!

You can help prevent memory loss by getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night. A quiet, dark room is best. A good sleep routine will prime your body for sleeping. If insomnia is an issue, try a non-addicting natural sleep supplement to fall asleep fast and get the deep REM sleep your memory needs.

2. Lower Your Stress Level

Chronic stress can permanently damage memory since it shrinks and destroys brain tissue, according to Dr. Stephanie McClellan. Cut out high stress elements of your life or consider getting help dealing with money, relationship, or work-related stress.

To reduce the feeling of stress, the Mayo Clinic recommends cutting out distractions and focusing on one thing at a time. You’ll find your productivity will improve and your mind will feel less pressure to perform. Rested and relaxed, your brain will do a better job protecting and retrieving your precious memories.

3. Eat a Healthy Diet

You need a healthy diet for so many things in your body to work right – including your brain. Memory loss has been linked to a poor diet, irregular eating habits, and ongoing nutritional deficiencies. The brain may only be 2% of your body weight, but it burns through 20% of your daily energy intake, so you need to feed it the right things.

A diet rich in anti-oxidants has been shown to reverse age-related brain changes, according to Dr. James Joseph at Tufts University in Boston. Green leafy vegetables, foods high in B-12, and fresh fruits can all fight memory loss. On the other hand, drinking alcohol, overloading on heavy carbs, and eating lots of fast food contribute to memory loss problem.

4. Proactively Tackle Chronic Health Challenges

When you’re struggling with an ongoing health challenge, it can be easy to focus on just that problem. However, most chronic health issues are treated with medications that will damage your body and upset your internal chemical balance.

The changes to your body these medications cause can ruin your memory. We like to think of life in a “drug-induced haze” as a stoner’s problem, but the reality is multiple prescriptions will give you the same effect. Some of the medications that can cause memory loss include antihistamines, blood pressure pills, anti-depressants, and painkillers.

Don’t sacrifice your mind by being complacent about your health. The Mayo Clinic recommends proactive treatment for chronic health conditions that require ongoing medication – diabetes, depression, heart problems, cholesterol, obesity – as a way to help you avoid a lifetime on mind-fogging drugs and to prevent memory loss.

5. Take the Right Supplements

A solid night of sleep, relaxing, eating right and ditching toxic meds all help prevent memory loss, but you also want insurance for your memory. To get this mental insurance, you need to take the right supplements.

It’s no secret that not all supplements are created equal. Some won’t do anything for your body because they aren’t formulated to be absorbed easily, while others don’t have the right nutrients. “The brain needs a variety of vitamins, minerals and enzymes to run properly, just like a car needs gasoline and oil,” says Dr. Stephanie McClellan.

Omega-3 fatty acids are a particular brain booster, recommended by the American Heart Association as a way to prevent memory loss and get optimal memory function. Norwegian studies have shown that eating fish at least once a week can offset memory loss, but not everyone has access to good fresh fish or likes the taste.

The Super Omega CoQ10 supplement offered by the Healthy Back Institute addresses this issue by packing each pill with 75 mg of Omega 3 fatty acids. That includes 25 mg of Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and 40 mg of Eicosaphentaenoic acid (EPA), extracted from fresh fish oils to properly nourish your brain and help prevent memory loss.

Yet it’s not just about fish oils. Super Omega CoQ10 also contains the most potent anti-oxidant form of Vitamin E, d-alpha-tocopherol, and CoQ10 which helps every one of your brain cells power on. And the soy lecithin in our special formula helps your body absorb the CoQ10, Vitamin E, and Omega 3′s so it can serve as a true brain booster.

There’s no need to accept memory loss. Instead, make the simple choices now. Sleep well, stress less, eat right, avoid bad medications, and take Super Omega CoQ10 to give your body real health and preserve your mental power.

10 (Legal) Ways to Fix Credit Scores

Bad Credit Scores Create Stress

Help relieve money stress by fixing bad credit… legally

Fix bad credit and build a good credit score. Fix bad credit and build a good credit score. Sounds like a broken record on daytime talk shows and late night infomercials alike.

The fact is, in today’s world of economic instability, having a good credit score has never been more important – unless you prefer to pay cash for everything including your home.

Maybe you’re stressed over money problems or losing sleep over your own debt and bad credit. If so, you should know that high levels of debt-related stress can damage more than your credit score… it can pose a serious threat to your health.

You’re more likely to experience health problems, including tension headaches, muscles spasms, back pain, anxiety, depression, ulcers, and heart problems when struggling with money related issues.

But beware! Fraudulent credit repair companies will promise to fix bad credit and raise your credit score fast.

In this case, the old adage fits: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

However, there really are some things you can do – legally – to fix bad credit, reduce your debt, and finally build good credit.

Just remember, real credit building does take time. So get started today by checking the ten credit fixing ways below off your list as soon as possible. Before you know it, your finances will be back on track, you’ll have less stress, and enjoy the benefits a great credit score brings, too.

#1: Pay Your Bills on Time

Consistently pay your bills on time and you will raise your credit score. Set up payment reminders to help prevent you from submitting late payments. This doesn’t just apply to credit cards and loans – even things like your gas, electricity, and telephone bills are forms of credit. Paying bills late can damage your credit. Paying bills on time not only builds good credit, it saves money on late fees.

#2: Cut Down on Credit Card Usage

Bring your maxed out credit cards below the credit limit. While using credit cards responsibly can build credit, keeping them maxed out will hurt your credit score. Some reputable credit score expertsyou’re your credit score responds best to credit card balances that are less than 30% of the credit limit, below 10% is ideal.

#3: Bring Past Due Accounts Current

Contact your creditor to discuss how to bring your accounts current. Your creditor may be willing to waive some of the late penalties or spread the past due balance over several payments. Some creditors will even re-age your account to show your payments as current rather than delinquent. Check your credit report to ensure your timely payments are being reported once you are current again.

#4: Pay Charged-off Accounts

Pay charge-off accounts. A charge-off is one of the worst account statuses. These can occur once your payment is 180 days past due. Sometimes your creditor may agree to accept a settlement and cancel the rest of the debt. The charge-off or settlement status will be reported for seven years.

#5: Work on Collection Accounts

Pay collection accounts in full or use your negotiation skills to work out a settlement with the collection agency. Accounts are sent to a collection agency after they’ve been charged-off or fallen behind several months. The collection action will also stay on your credit report for seven years based on the original delinquency.

#6: Pay Down Loan Balances

Tackle those loan balances. Your loan balances affect your credit score in a way similar to your credit card balances. The credit score calculation compares your current loan balance to the original loan amount. If your loan balances are close to the original amount borrowed, it will hurt your credit score.

#7: Build New Credit

Reestablish your credit by opening up a new account. Limit applications to one or two. Too many of them over a continued period of time will hurt your credit score and your ability to get approved. If you are denied for a major credit card, consider applying for a retail store credit card or a secured credit card, which requires a security deposit to secure your credit limit, to help you establish good credit again.

#8: Decrease Your Expenses

Cut back on expenses and prioritize where you spend your money. Making the decision to get out of debt is great, but making it happen takes a plan. Here are 10 quick and easy ways to decrease your expenses fast:

  • Carpool
  • Get a Roommate
  • Quit Smoking
  • Cancel Premium Cable
  • Cook at Home Instead of Eating Out
  • Lower Your Utility Bills (adjust thermostat, cheaper cell phone plan)
  • Buy Clothing on Sale
  • Take Your Lunch to Work
  • Grocery Shop with Coupons
  • Enjoy Game Night at Home Instead of a Night On the Town

#9: Increase Your Income

Figure out ways to increase your immediate income. Have a garage sale, tweak your tax with holdings, optimize your job benefits, or collect aluminum cans.

If you have a hobby that you enjoy, you could try turning it into cash. A talent or skill that you’ve been using simply as a hobby, could help you earn the needed extra money to pay down your debt.

If you are good at playing the piano, maybe you could tutor others. Perhaps you’re good at arts and crafts. Selling jewelry or leather accessories at your local flea market or craft fair could be a good source of extra income too, maybe even a new career.

#10: Invest in Long Term Income Sources

Don’t overlook long-term income investments, either. Some of them can turn into near immediate income streams.

One of my favorites is commercial property. They offer fast income returns and could possibly turn a several hundred-dollar investment into huge returns on your first property investment.

Before you turn me off thinking there’s no way you could possibly invest into something like commercial real estate with a bad credit score, listen to this. I know a guy, a formerly broke landscaper from Abington, MA, who turned an $800 (that’s eight hundred dollars) investment into a $240 million real fortune.

He actually wrote a book with Donald Trump explaining exactly how he did it so others can too. But you probably don’t need $240 million to pay off your debt and fix your credit score, right?

That’s why, if you’d like to not only fix bad credit but even make enough money where credit is rarely an issue in your life at all, I recommend you read his book today.

The Most Controversial Article of the Year

Disturbing Facts the Drug Companies DON’T Want Us to Tell You

Certain habits become so common for people that they take them for granted as safe.

Smoking. Driving. Eating high trans fat foods.

As you know, though, smoking kills. Driving is the #1 cause of deadly accidents and always requires your full attention. And high trans fat foods are a leading cause of deadly disease.

Though the giant drug companies who make billions off acetaminophen LOVE that people assume its safe, truth is that it is anything but…

If you have taken acetaminophen even somewhat regularly and still feel healthy, please consider yourself lucky. Because more users of acetaminophen than the drug companies EVER want you to know have not been so fortunate … even when they’ve “played it safe” by following all the rules on the label!

Here’s a big fact that may SHOCK you too:

Acetaminophen accounts for some 56,000 trips to the emergency room and at least hundreds of deaths yearly … and that’s just in the United States!

Yes, these numbers were high enough to even make the FDA (who are often lax when it comes to their partners in crime, the mega-drug companies) take action:

The Feds Finally Get Involved

Nearly a year ago, the FDA finally announced a per tablet-cap of no more than 325 milligrams of acetaminophen in common opioid pain relievers — think Vicodin and Percocet — and mandated label changes in ALL acetaminophen products to warn consumers about the potential risk of severe liver injury.

Evidently, Johnson & Johnson, the makers of Tylenol — the most popular acetaminophen product on the planet —  got the message last summer. Possibly reacting to the verdicts already handed down by the feds, their McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division dropped the maximum daily dosages of Extra Strength Tylenol from 4,000 milligrams per day (8 pills) to 3,000 milligrams (6 pills).

(Another FACT You Need to Know: Extra Strength Tylenol is manufactured in a Puerto Rico factory implicated in many of Johnson & Johnson’s 25 drug recalls over the past 27 months.)

And the news gets worse, folks…

Toxic Overload

The conclusion of a recently published British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (BJCP) study of 663 patients who sustained liver injuries due to acetaminophen use really nailed the problem.

Nearly 25 percent of the patients sustained acetaminophen-related damage due to a staggered overdosing regimen in which they took just a little more than was safe on occasion for common medical issues (toothaches, muscular pains and headaches).

Even taking two extra pills a day could be fatal, experts say!

In comparison to patients who overdosed on acetaminophen after a single incident, patients who had taken extra dosages on occasion over time suffered far greater problems:

  • More vulnerable to brain, liver and breathing problems
  • Needed kidney dialysis
  • A greater risk of dying

Even worse, patients may have sustained an acetaminophen overdose, experts say — BUT NEVER KNOW IT. And, doctors may not recognize this problem either.

To make matters even worse still, a study conducted by Northwestern University found only 31 percent of the people surveyed in six focus groups knew that Tylenol contained acetaminophen, and only 41 percent ever bothered to read the ingredients on drug labels.

Too Late!

Unfortunately, even many people who learn the facts like those won’t actually pay attention to them … at least until their own or a loved ones’ liver, kidney, or brain is ruined, or at least the sad story of some individual in the news gets their attention.

So here’s just one of many true tragic stories, this one of a young, single Mom just recently in the United Kingdom…

What did it take to make this 20-year-old woman yet another member of the heartbreaking statistics?

Simply taking extra paracetamol (the UK equivalent of acetaminophen) over the recommended safe dosage for two weeks to relieve her pain after surgery to remove non-cancerous lumps from her breast.

A harmful dose could be “just a few pills too many taken regularly over days, weeks or months,” Dr. Kenneth Simpson, who conducted the recent acetaminophen BJCP study cited previously, told the BBC in relation to this latest tragedy.

Don’t Let Them Brainwash You:
Take BACK Control of Your Health Now

There is a silver lining beyond the dark cloud of these facts and tragedies, however. Many people have been brainwashed into believing that acetaminophen and other common relievers are the “only choice,” BUT that is complete nonsense.

You really DO have the choice to a much safer route…

First educate yourself on the key facts of the most dangerous drugs in our 5 Most Dangerous Pain Medications report … and then take action on the recommendation for a truly SAFE and MORE EFFECTIVE alternative for pain relief …

The 12 Germiest Places

The Dirtiest Places at Home, Work and in Public

Dirty Kitchen Sink

Your kitchen sink may be dirtier than your toilet seat

Okay, I’ve got a strong stomach. But these even grossed me out!

Yes, I knew not everything in this world was clean, but I was shocked at some of the dirtiest places on this list.

Putting together this list of the germiest places in everyday life has definitely changed my outlook, since this “dirty dozen” is a list of  serious bacteria, parasite, and disease hot spots.

If you thought the toilet seat was nasty, get a load of these places … and then DON’T MISS the free report at the end!

1. Your Kitchen Sink

Old dishes with rotting traces of decaying food particles, bacteria from poorly washed hands, and toxic chemicals from “cleaners” all add up to make the kitchen sink one of the nastiest places in your house. It may look shiny and clean, but at the microscopic level, scientists run scared from the sink.

2. Door Handles

At home, at work, and anywhere in public, door handles are something you definitely don’t want to touch. Everybody puts a hand on them, adding layers of grime, bacteria, and parasites to their surfaces. Disease trackers say door handles are often responsible for flu and outbreaks, but note that anti-bacterial wipes usually can’t kill all the germs that build up on the handle.

3. Gas Pumps

The humble gas pump is one of the dirtiest places in America – a study by the University of Arizona found that 71% of gas pump handles are “highly contaminated” with disease causing germs. Evidently, it’s not just the price at the pump that will kill you … yuck!

4. Shopping Cart Handles

As long as we’re talking about handles, it turns out shopping cart handles are also one of the germiest places adults put their hands. No wonder higher end grocery stores offer disinfectant wipes for shoppers! They’re trying to help you protect against raw food parasites as well as every kind of human germ.

5. Playgrounds

Concerned parents worry that playgrounds are dangerous – and they are, but not for the reasons most think. Let’s face it – kids are dirty little germ-magnets who pick their noses, wet their pants, and don’t think twice about sneezing all over their toys. Traces of blood from skinned knees, old vomit from getting dizzy on the merry-go-round, and exploded diapers in the sandbox make roundworms, E. Coli, and salmonella some of the nicer things playgrounds harbor.

6. ATMs

The buttons on the ATM are horribly polluted. They earn a spot as one of the dirtiest places in our lives because they are rarely (if ever) cleaned between users. Outdoor ATM keypads also pick up environmental toxins on top of the grime from thousands of PINs being entered every day.

7. Hotel Television Remotes

Hotel television remotes aren’t changed daily like towels, so if one sick person stays in the room, their viruses linger. Researchers found that a single overnight stay by a volunteer with a cold virus was enough to keep remotes, door handles, and faucets filthy for weeks. The worst part is most hotel guests reach straight for the remote as soon as they check in and never suspect they’ve just welcomed a set of invading germs to their bodies.

8. Computer Keyboards

The sweat and oil from your fingers makes a nice home for germs, bacteria, and viruses. If you eat and type (guilty!) it adds bacteria from decaying food to the mix. Every additional person who uses the keyboard brings their own germs with them, making shared public keyboards like at your public library toxic disease zones.

9. Shared Office Phones

Office phones are the worst offenders and germiest places in the office, although any communal office equipment (fax machine, photocopier, water faucet / bottled water handle) functions as a germ farm. Phones go above and beyond to get dirty, blending saliva, mucous, and hand germs to encourage bacteria to multiply quickly.

10. Your Personal Cell Phone

Oh, you thought you’d just use your own phone to be safe? Think again – studies have shown personal cell phones are actually far dirtier than toilets. You might as well kiss a toilet seat –at least it gets scrubbed regularly!

11. Handbags

Handbags and briefcases go with you everywhere, plopped casually on the floor whenever they’re unneeded. Along with what they pick up on their outsides from restaurant, store, and car floors, there’s your own personal germs festering away inside. Old tissues, half-eaten snacks, dirty coins, and of course, your cell phone, all contribute to a portable disease factory that is cleaned just once or twice a year.

12. Your Bathtub

Rounding out the “dirty dozen” is your bathtub. It’s not a place to get clean – quite the opposite. While 6% of garbage cans carry staphylococcus bacteria, it was found in 26% of bathtubs tested by scientists. In fact, bathtubs usually have upwards of 100,000 bacteria per square inch.

Not even a weekly bleach treatment and scrub can kill all the bacteria in your tub … nor do anti-bacterial wipes save you from the germs on door handles, keyboards, or hotel remotes. Soap won’t make a dent on the parasites kids bring back from the playground, and you can’t wash your hands enough to protect yourself against your handbag.

There’s just one thing that will really, truly kill all the germs, parasites, and bacteria from the 12 germiest places in public, home, and work – and after getting so grossed out, I just had to share this special report to tell you exactly how it works.

Discover how to safely kill all those nasty germs,
parasites and bacteria now in this free special report

Chairs for Back Pain

The Best Chairs, The Worst, and Why…

Poor posture is a common cause of chronic back pain, and this is true not only in regard to standing but also, and actually more so, to sitting. If you slouch or sit in an uncomfortable position, your muscles and ligaments can become overstretched, fatigued and strained.

chairs for back painAdding to the problem, sitting actually puts more pressure on your back than standing, and many people spend far more time seated than they do standing.

In fact, the average American spends anywhere from eight to 12 hours a day sitting! Despite this significant time allotment, many people pay precious little regard to the chair in which they sit, even though this can hold the key to ridding you of potentially debilitating back pain — or avoiding it in the first place.

How can you tell if your chair is the culprit behind your throbbing back? Or better still, which chairs for back pain will give you relief?

Sitting Up Straight is NOT Best for Your Back

You’ve probably been told since you were a child to “Sit up straight!”

But choosing a chair for back pain that causes you to sit up straight at a 90-degree angle can actually cause chronic back problems. This is because sitting too upright places strain on your spine, which in turn causes your spinal disks to move and become misaligned.

When researchers from the University of Alberta Hospital in Canada used magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to review spine health during different sitting postures — either 90 degrees or slightly reclined at 135 degrees — they found the 90-degree angle caused the most strain and the most prominent movement of the spinal disks.[i]

The study author, Waseem Amir Bashir, a researcher at the University of Alberta Hospital in Canada, noted:[ii]

“A 135-degree body-thigh sitting posture was demonstrated to be the best biomechanical sitting position, as opposed to a 90-degree posture, which most people consider normal.”

Many office chairs on the market will, unfortunately, keep your posture fixed in the 90-degree position, thereby potentially making your back pain worse.

If Your Chair Lets You Slouch, Back Pain is Imminent

Even though a slightly reclined position is easier on your spine than a stick-straight posture, this doesn’t mean slouching is ok. In fact, slouching is virtually guaranteed to give you back pain sooner or later …

When you slouch, your shoulders and head move forward in an unnatural position that strains your spine, neck and jaw. This can lead to headaches and jaw pain, in addition to back pain, as it actually puts the equivalent of 100 extra pounds of stress on your lower back.

And the more you slouch, the worse the damage becomes; for each inch your head drops while slouching, another 10 pounds of stress are added to your spine![iii]

The trouble is, most people are not disciplined enough to keep their spine in its proper alignment; if your chair allows you to slouch, there’s a good chance you will, especially when you’ve been sitting for four or five — or eight or 10 — hours at a stretch.

Ideally, your chair should be designed in such a way that it prevents you from slouching; only the best ergonomic chairs will do this.

Why Movement is so Important for Your Back

Your body is not meant to stay in one position for long periods of time, which is why experts recommend you get up and stretch at least every 20 minutes or so when you’re seated. Realistically, most people do not do this — you become engrossed in your work, are on a phone call, or in a meeting and simply cannot get out of your chair every little while.

Prolonged sitting, especially when you’re slouching, stresses the tissues supporting your spinal column, fatigues your muscles and ultimately can lead to back pain.

Most chairs only add to the problem of extended, sedentary sitting, as they are made in a fixed position that does not allow for much movement while sitting.

The healthiest chairs for back pain are therefore those that allow for ample moving and stretching even while you’re in a seated position. While it’s still important to get up as often as you can, a chair that facilitates movement is essential for your back health.

Lumbar Support is Essential

The natural curve in the lower portion of your spine, called the lordotic curve, needs special support while you sit, known as lumbar support. This helps to relieve the muscles surrounding your spine, which otherwise have to work overtime to keep your spine in the proper alignment when you’re sitting.

Often, when lumbar support is lacking, your head and upper back pitch forward to compensate, which encourages slouching and exacerbates pain.

If your chair is lacking lumbar support, a rolled up towel placed behind your back can help — however, this is a hassle and really only a short-term solution, since the towel will tend to move every time you get up.

All Office Chairs are NOT Created Equal

If you’ve ever been in the market for a chair for back pain, you know there are countless models on the market — but most fail miserably when it comes to what really matters, which is keeping you comfortable and pain-free.

If your neck and shoulders are fatigued or rock-hard at the end of the day, if you feel stiff and achy, or you have pain anywhere along your back or spine, there’s a good chance your chair is not giving you the support you need.

The best chair for back pain stands out above the crowd, and in tests of many dozens of office chairs (including those priced at up to $3,000!) by the Healthy Back Institute, none even came close to this one.

chairs for back painSo, we gave it the name it deserves: The Best Chair for Bad Backs.

Whether you currently struggle with back pain, or want to be proactive and prevent it from occurring, this chair provides optimal support for a healthy, pain-free back.

Considering how much time you probably spend sitting each day — especially if you work in an office environment, but even if you plan to use this chair at home — evaluating what you are sitting on, and choosing a chair that is carefully designed with your back in mind, can make all the difference in your level of pain.

What is Bromelain

And Its Top Disease-Fighting Benefits For You

What does a pineapple have to do with providing powerful relief for your pain?

Perhaps the better question to ask is, what is bromelain?

Bromelain, a mixture of enzymes found in the juice and stem of the pineapple, was discovered by Western medicine soon after Christopher Columbus landed in the New World — and found pineapples — on the island of Guadalupe in 1493, and has been used for centuries to relieve inflammation and indigestion.

Also according to the history books, the benefits of pineapple and bromelain grew in fame beyond Europe during the 1600s when pineapples started being passed around the world to more tropical climes (India, Africa and the Pacific Islands) for growing.

Finally, bromelain was isolated as an enzyme for the first time some 200 years later in the late 19th Century. But, that’s ancient history…

A MUST If You Are Beyond Your 20s…

Bromelain just isn’t any kind of enzyme. This natural and completely safe compound is a proteolytic enzyme, responsible for breaking down and eliminating the excess proteins that accumulate at the scenes of an injury, irritation or burn. More to the point, bromelain mops up a specific protein — Circulating Immune Complex (CIC) — that’s sent by the human immune system to form a protective wall around injured areas.

So, why use a natural substance to treat a natural, cellular process?

Beyond our mid 20s, unfortunately, our bodies stop producing enough proteolytic enzymes to do the heavy lifting, leaving us more vulnerable to the inflammation that increases our aches and pains associated with arthritis as we age, not to mention stroke, Alzheimer’s and heart attack as well as unknown damage to other internal organs.

Here’s the rub: Eating pineapple does increase your body’s supply of healthy proteolytic enzymes, but you’d have to eat a lot of it raw to make an impact on your health.

Also, food processing destroys the natural, beneficial effects of these good-for-you enzymes, so eating canned pineapple does your body no good either.

Have YOU Hit the Wall?

Have you hit the proverbial wall looking for a natural and completely safe way to relieve your pain without the need for harmful prescription drugs, like Celebrex, Vicodin or Oxycodone?

And, have you become increasingly wary with the increasingly growing number of studies citing all the health problems associated with over-the-counter meds like aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen and naproxen?

One of the best and safest way to get the right amount of bromelain for your health is among the most convenient too. Bromelain is one of 12 natural and powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients in Heal N Soothe that work synergistically to give your body a powerful one-two punch against pain and inflammation.

(By the way, bromelain has been recognized by the American Cancer Society as an effective alternative treatment to help reduce the effects of some kinds of chemotherapy, and it was approved by the German Commission E in the 90s to treat inflammation or swelling related to sinus surgeries.)

We’re Giving Back! (Kiva.org)

Why I Choose to Give My Money to This Remarkable Organization

Kiva

Kiva enables me to give a "hand up" to entrepreneurs like Shargiya Nuriyeva in Azerbaijan with her cattle business. CLICK the picture to learn more about Kiva now!

Jesse Cannone here, founder of the LoseTheBackPain.com newsletter … one of the world’s most popular and respected newsletters giving you the tools and insights to stop pain of all sorts, restore your health, and enjoy your life (subscribe free above!)

And speaking of empowering others to help themselves…

I know there are many worthwhile charitable organizations out there, and I respect and donate to several of them. But I want to share why I just gave another $700 to Kiva … and why this is my 62nd donation to this remarkable and unique organization!

You see, the mission of Kiva is not only to alleviate poverty worldwide, but to do so by empowering entrepreneurs in poverty to pursue their goals and dreams.

Kiva helps those worldwide who, regardless of their current circumstances, realize they are in charge of their life and are determined to help themselves! And that’s why I help Kiva.

I really love the fact that I can choose individuals who get the money … not just some huge organization.

But what I love MOST is that these enterprising individuals are not getting a “hand out,” but instead a “hand up.” That makes far more of a difference in anyone’s life. Plus as you will see in Kiva’s How It Works process, I love the fact that as these ambitious individuals repay the loan into your account, you can then donate the funds to MORE entrepreneurs … truly a Pay It Forward approach!

This time, for example, I know my donation went to help Joel in United States with his electronics business. It went to help Pascaliah Chepkwony in Kenya with her dairy business, Juanito Tabbal Jr. in Philippines with his farming, and Shargiya Nuriyeva in Azerbaijan with her cattle business.

I really encourage you to learn more about the unique and remarkable organization, Kiva, right now.

Because I am convinced that if everyone were to donate into organizations like this, the world would be “fixed” a heck of a lot faster.
