1st time user of "lose the back pain"
Hi Steve: Is it advisable to eliminate NSAID's prior to conducting the evaluation? I injureed L1 and L2 moving a pilates device; I unsuccessfully underwent DTS therapy. I sustained an injury, similar area 4 years ago; at that time DTS worked perfectly. The difference between then and now is in the level of expertise of the chiropractors. I didn't return to the original practioners due to their complete lack of integrity, which I shall not reveal. I am looking forward to implementing your system as it is in accordance with many things I've learned while preparing for medical school. Thanks,
Kevin
PS I ordered the Lifezyme Plus to try. I wonder if it is similar to Vascuzyme?

Re: 1st time user of "lose the back pain"
The assessments are not a gauge of pain and thus your comfort level is not going to reflect your true postural dysfunctions… So if you need help with pain do what you need to…
That said getting of the NSAIDs as fast a possible is always good…
http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2006-12-19-fda-warning_x.htm
Anyway can not wait to here of your success with both the LTBP system and Lifzyme…
What make Lifezyme (Heal n soothe) so different from other enzyme products ask…
1. The first huge difference is in the way the company choose to tell you how much or how active the enzyme are… You see the potency of enzymes are not measured in “mg” but rather in “Fibrolytic Units” meaning how much fibrin can the enzyme break down in a set amount of time.
To just say the there is 200 mg of Pancreatin means nothing… because there could be one batch of enzymes with the wt of 200 mg and have a high Fibrolytic Unit level and then you can have a second batch of enzymes at the same wt of 200 mg and have virtually no Fibrolytic Units and at $35 a bottle my bet it that they are using the cheap ****
In the supplement market there is big loop hole that manufactures use to get around the FDA regulation of telling you how much of what it in the product, they call their product a “proprietary blend” and then they do not need to put specifics as to the wt or Fibrolytic units… Thus the consumer never knows what they are getting, some manufacture say its to protect their product formula, like its some secret, that is crap because anyone in the business knows that you can have any supplement on the market reverse engineered and then know the secret formula. Most likely it so they don’t have to tell you how little of each ingredient is in the product and that is bad…
We tell you the Fibrolytic units of the three enzymes we use, the individual wt of each enzyme is no material to the effectiveness of the product so we do not even put on the label we do tell you the total wt of each dose per 3 capsules.
Now this is important to understand Serrazimes® is our flag ship enzyme and it is a patented enzyme formula held by our manufacture, Serrazimes® its self is comparable to Pancretin and serrapeptese as a protease enzyme.
Serrazimes® is a blend of enzymes and this is what makes it so good, now you can not just go out and buy the individual components of this blend so it not like the entire product is a proprietary blend… Serrazimes® is the Proteolytic enzyme just like Pancretin or serrapeptese it is what it is, it is the in my opinion the best Proteolytic Systemic Enzyme. For the below reasons
The Fibrolytic Units of a single dose of the enzymes in Lifezyme are as follows
60,000 U for or Serrazimes® is our most powerful protease
3 mil FCCPU of Bromelain
3 mil FCCPU or Papain
This is a lot of combined Fibrolytic units, if you don’t believe me go and compare if you can which is my point in most cases you can not…
2. The enzyme Pancreatin comes from an animal source and most of the time it comes from the Pancreas of a PIG, nice HUH… Well because the enzymes from an animal source has a smaller or narrower survivability in the pH of your stomach they have to be coated with a protective film or you could see the words “Entericly coated” so they can survive the pH of the stomach and then move through the stomach and then pass through to the small intestine and then pass through the lining of the small intestine now if they do survive that long they then need to live in the pH of the blood and that is often time a problem when you are talking about the effeteness of and animal based enzyme product.
Serrazimes® the proteolytic enzymes in Lifezyme on the other hand are made from Mushrooms and can survive in a greater or wider pH range, either in the stomach and in the blood and they do not need to be coated, thus the greater the chance the product will work. And that is good.
3. This is a small point but Systemic enzymes are to be taken on and empty stomach so why would you put a bunch of digestive enzymes in the formula? We formulated Lifezyme with other ingredients that work synergistically to provide support for the body to fight the effects of Oxidative stressors and the degenerative effects of chronic inflammation.
4. This is not so small a point, Lifezyme is made with veg, capsules and this product comes as tablets that means it need to be held together by an bonding agent wax, glaze or shellac of some sort,
5. Please Google “pharmaceutical lac glaze” and you decide of you want to put it in your mouth then because your tongue is going to touch the tables for 1 second of less they put a artificial sweetener in the product Sorbitol why…the point is to get rid of Oxidative stressors that cause inflammation.
Hope that help…
Steve

Re: 1st time user of "lose the back pain"
Thanks Steve, for the in-depth answer to my question. In addition to using the aforementioned products, I am ordering the motorized Teeter inversion table; Power II. I talked with the people at Teeter today and they spoke highly of your company. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The gal that I spoke with is sending me a dvd that depicts a demonstration of the table. It appears that inversion tables can accomplish the identical treatment (cheaply) as opposed to the very expensive DTS equipment used by chiropractic physicians; namely elongation of the vertebral column. I will post progress reports on a regular basis, once I am implementing the complete regimen. I must add that initially, I am very impressed with your company's positive mental approach, straightforward no BS information, and product support policies that reflect a high degree of integrity and thoughtfulness on your part.

Steve: Can the hot shower be supplanted by an infrared sauna prior to exercising?
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: 1st time user of "lose the back pain"
I have taken the Lifezyme tablets for two days, 3 tablets twice a day as per the instructions; since day one the Lifezyme has enabled me to decrease my intake of Ibuprofen from 6 tablets a day to just two. I am starting the diagnostic portion of the LTBP system over the weekend. I will update my progress regularly.
