Re: cold turkey with my meds
Obviously I am not a doctor, but I would not suggest just stopping them altogether, you should wind down gradually on them.
For instance if your taking 2 tablets 4 times a day, try 1 tablet 4 times a day for a few days, then 1 tablet 3 times, and then reduce down to none.
But as I pointed out I am not a doctor, so I would suggest calling your Doctor and getting advice from him/her.
Thanks
Dan

Please work with your Dr and then find alternative solutions and have a good plan in place...
The solution is out there you just need to work at finding it...

Re: cold turkey with my meds
Cold turkey would be so mentally and physically challenging, you would find yourself crawling that 70 miles for your prescriptions,or purchasing, on the s*****, what you need. My brother and I have been on narcotics for a lifetime. People tell me all the time they can get pain medication prescriptions from their doctor, but they just don't want to do pain pills. I tell them, evedentally, you don't need them. I feel bad for you, with the price of gas, this goverment is crippling us. Detox should be carefully, gradually monitered by a proffessional. Thoughts of cold turkey never enter my mind. When there is a will, there is a way. Good Luck, Rose
