I have been taking Heal and Soothe regularly for some time now and love it. My wife probably needs it more then I do but she get heartburn really bad when she takes 3 capsules. It does not matter how much water she drinks with it. Would love for her to be able to take it and have it help. Directions say to take on an empty stomach or you end up with digestive enzymes. Any suggestions that dont decrease the effectiveness?

Hi Steve,
I havent had a problem with Heal and Soothe but i did a search on the forum to see if this issue has come up before and there are a few posts. In one of them the answer related to taking it on an empty stomach was that :-
"... you can take Heal n Soothe with a starch, like apple sauce or crackers or bread just nothing that is a protein..."
I wonder if that would help her?

That would tell me she needs something with glucose in it, or other forms of glucose. Like juice or fruit. Think fructose-sucrose type of sugars... nothing artificial.

I've taken the Heal-N-Soothe for almost a year now. Every now & then I get the heartburn also when I take the 3 capsules.
I have noticed though that if I take the pills with cold water it results in heartburn more often than when I drink my water at room temp. Have your wife try them with room temperature water.
Also, has she tried taking them one at a time to start with? When I first started I had to build up to the 3 at once.
Have her try 1 - 3 times a day, then 2- 3 times a day until she can get to the 3. At least a smaller dose is better than none.
I can notice such a difference when I take mine. I can almost completely come off all my prescription pain meds & muscle relaxers within days of taking the max dosage.
Hope it helps. Unfortunately though even the ones we love are stubborn to new things. My husband refuses to take it because he says it gives him diarrhea and heartburn, but he wont take it more than once or twice to let his body adjust to it either. Even though he sees how much it helps me and how it could help him. I think some people just have to have something to complain about. But I still love him though. Not saying that is true with your wife. But like the old saying goes... "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."
Good luck & glad you are able to experience the benefits of it. Keep positive & loving and things will work out!
