I am having terrible problems with my hips staying in alignment. I especially notice discomfort when I am sitting and I draw my legs up. It feels like my pelvis is bunched and pressing in on my. Very uncomfortable. I also have tremendous pain in sit bones when sitting and more on my left side in my glute area. When I walk, I feel like my hips are a big swing gate and they are moving back and forth uncomfortably. So my question is should hips be in alignment before beginning the stretches and exercises? I have all ready begun the exercises and my legs feel weak after them. If so, how can I align them?
Hip alignment before exercises?

I should also mention that it looks like I have a high right hip with sciatia type pain that is in my left hip/buttock area. Pretty sure I have FTP as well.

Hi Renee,
I think your best course of action would be to send in your assessments and photos to Steve so that he can check if you have FTP etc. Mention all the things you have said in your post as well.
Then he will be able to advise you better on the exercises. Do this soon then you will know what is best for you to be doing.
Wishing you all the best
