Getting knotts in my back to go away
I got a knot in my back one day at the gym from doing bent over barbell rows and have never figured out how to treat it. It has now been three years.
I was used to doing them and I was doing heavy rows. Then in a separate accident I was put into a hospital for around sixty days and came out weighing more than fifty pounds less from the loss of muscle tissue. After I was released and went through physical therapy I decided to return back to the gym. Turned out to be a mistake. I didn't have many of my core muscles anymore and it never crossed my mind. I was doing the same ab regimes that I was used to, but did nothing for the many other core muscles.
One day I went back to doing the rows and slowly got back up to heavy lifts, without the proper strength going back into my core.
Nothing happened immediately, but that night and every day sense, I have had a large knot in my left side lower back. After a couple months the left side knot caused a right side knot and I cannot get them to go away. For a long time I was taken 800mg of Ibuprofen every eight hours. That helped ease the pain but never fixed it. My doctor gave me muscle relaxers, a shot of cortisone, and some nerve medication all to no avail.
I'm only 30 pages into the book and I'm not reading anything about fixing knots in back muscles. I'm not going to stop reading but, am I going to find out how to fix muscle knots, or just info. on helping bones and discs?
Thanks,
Fuller

Re: Getting knotts in my back to go away
The entire point of the entire lose the back pain system is stretching and strengthening the right muscles. So essentially you would be treating your knots, yet it may still take awhile, especially if it has been 3 years plus since the knots got there. Have you tried Deep Tissue massage or Trigger Point Therapy? The Trigger Point Therapy home system would probably be a good fit for your problem, but I would confirm that with Steve first, seeing as how it is a little pricey, but not in comparison to more doctor visits :)

HOW DO I CONFIRM THIS WITH STEVE?
