is there any way to put the discs back in the righ place??
I have recently got my MRI done. I have posterior disc protrusion at L4-L5 level & L4-L5 level and posterior disc bulging at L3-L4 & L5-S1 levels. I have told by my doctor that doing some special exercise can stop getting the problem worse. But i am very anxious to know if i can heal it! i mean to do some special exercise to put the discs back in their right positions.

Yes...if all aspects of your disc situation are addressed properly and accurately, you have a 90 percent chance of full, manageable recovery...the questions you need answered are,,,1,What level of degeration is my spine and pelvis??2.Is there any evidence of prior fracture, dislocation, fixation, subluxation???3.How well did my spine and pelvis work as short as 1 year ago???4.Is this problem an accumulation effect of innocent injuries or neglect of warning signals in my life???5. What was my delivery from my mother's womb like? Was I a baby who already exhibited C1/C2 subluxation issues which have now compromised my functional balance and nerve supply/control for so long that my roof fell off a long time ago and now foundation is ______________________________________________________________________________________

Re: is there any way to put the discs back in the righ place??
I will be putting a posting on here later regarding the C1/C2 vertebrae.
The effect that misalignment of these two vertebrae can have on the entire spine is staggering.
My wife discovered that she had moderate to severe scoliosis over a year ago. X-rays were taken to confirm this.
Our chiropractor uses the Pettibon System method to treat scoliosis.
He worked only on her C1/C2 vertebrae. Not once did he work on her on back.
In the course of a year, her spine has improved by 80%.
The center line of her spine is now no longer "pushed to one side".
This improvement was shown by an x-ray taken a couple of weeks ago.
I have personally been amazed at this.
Our old chiropractor works with a local surgeon who is one of the few people in the world who can remove Harrington Rods from the spine [ large metal rods put in to "help" scoliosis ].
Once the surgeon has removed them, the chiropractor uses the Pettibon System to get the spine back to normal [ or as near as is possible ].
No one is exactly sure of the mechanisms by which this works, however there are many interesting theories.
If anyone would like a copy of the x-rays, drop me an e-mail and I'll send them to you.

I put a sentence in the wrong place; this is the correct version:

Behi
To get started, I'd suggest you try the Lose The Back Pain system.
The stretches and exercises will help reduce the pressure on your disks.
Stand sideways to a mirror and have a friend check whether the center line of your ears lines up with the middle of your shoulders.
If it does not, that means your head [ and most likely shoulders ] are forward of where they should be.
Lay down on the floor. Relax. Have a friend see if they can fit their hand under the small of your back.
If they can, then that can mean that your lower back [ lumbar region ] has too much of a curve.
These are very rough checks, but should get you started.
I'd suggest you see a physical therapist who can check for any problems with your posture and also for any muscular imbalances.
Also try to get a series of x-rays done;
Side view of lumbar region
Front view of pelvis
Side view of neck.
Let us know how you do.
Which country are you in ?

Your doctor will say no, but he'll want to cut it out of you and pay for his kids braces. The herniation will shrink over time and it will stop causing unpleasant symptoms if you take care of it. I have an MRI to prove this.

Behi,
One other approach is to forget about your diagnosis and stop worrying and concentrate on the the physical things that you can have direct control of like your ability to improve your strength and flexibility...
If you continue to ask the right questions and contiue to grow your knowledge you will have no choice but to make improvements, if you work towards making your body more balances and more stable you will and can achieve a more improved condition...
it will just take a effort on your part to acquire that awareness and ability to get the job done...
