Hi
I am 48 years old and have lost 50 pounds since Jan 2011. I am now in a maintenance phase and plan to go back to strict dieting in August to lose the remaining 50 or so pounds I would like to lose to be at a healthy weight.
In the past couple of weeks, I have had some strong to severe left buttock pain that is usually alleviated with advil, aleve and me stretching my muscles. The stretch that brings the most releif is when I am sitting, I bring my left knee to my chest and then move it from right to left. Most of the time that stops the pain so that I can do my normal activities.
I have insuranc but have not found a physician that I am comfortable with yet.
Do you think the pain is caused indirectly by the weight loss.. by causing a different strength ditribution of my muscle groups?
I was taking a magnesium supplement and didn't have any hip/buttock pain at all... maybe I should go back to that?
Hoping you can help me with some suggestions.
Thanks
