I recently was given the LTBP system by my GF. I've looked at this site for a few months now and have wanted to check it out but money was the issue. Now that I have it I am so glad I do. I have a strange issue though and need some guidance.
I believe the chiropractor said I have a forward tilted pelvis, but I have a straightening of the low back curve. I had an xray that showed this.
Anyway, I have been doing the stretches for the forward tilt pelvis and things have been so awesome, I couldn't believe it, pain free and I could stand in front of the kitchen sink for an extended length of time with no pain!
Then I decided to do some strengthening exercises at the gym to strengthen my glute and hamstrings, I did the seated leg curls. I thought this was going to be great but a 1/2 day after doing these exercises my back feels like it did before ever doing any stretches, and why I was put on pain meds in the first place, which I am off of.
So when I lay on my back there's barely any room to place my hand under the small of my back(back tilted pelvis), but the symptoms also point to front tilted pelvis.
My question is, can I have both?
Should I stop doing the strengthening exercises for the forward tilted pelvis and do the ones for the back tilted pelvis. When I was doing the stretches for the forward tilted pelvis things were great.
Oh the reason I started to do the strengthening exercises was my back started to give me problems again so I thought maybe it was time to start the exercises.
Thoughts, suggestions?
