Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
Hi,
I've been in pain for 9 months with a herniated disc L5-S1 Sciatic Pain.
On the infomercial here Jesse says he doesn't know too many people that have had significant results with this.
Why is that?
Everyone on the internet is saying it works...for $5,000 to have this not work for me I am skeptical...because my disc has bulged out 3 times, once 2002 causing left leg numbness from the thigh to the foot, 2005 causing the right leg extreme pain and tingling (no numbness and June 2009, my left leg gave out and I fell on the bed that was the last time I've felt good the day before that happened in June.
So I've tried it all and am in extreme pain
So why does Jesse say this doesn't work.
Please explain

Re: Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
Its not that it doesn't work, but rather decompression alone is not the complete answer...
This article is a outline of the issue

Jesse, goes into more detail about this in his book

One thing I would suggest to anyone that is considering the DRX 9000 or other treatments that are $4000 or more is to ask for a addendum to the contract to let you keep coming till you get relief you are looking for...

Re: Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
About 13 months ago I finally broke down and went to the Decompression Doctor. I was in so much pain I could hardly stand it. My co-workers and family would tease me and say that I look like a question mark. I did PT and Chiro and It actually made me worse. I do believe that different things will work for different people but I will say It costed me just under $5,000 and if it wasnt for the DRX 9000 I would have gotten surgery. I went in around 3/2/09 and by middle of june I was completely pain free. It did get a little discuraging going 3 times a week for that amount of time but It did help me and after the first week I could finally sleep again. If you can do some sort of pay as you go plan like me you should have a pretty good Idea after about 10 visits if this will work for you or not.
Hope this helps, Brian

For 500$ get an inversion table you can use anytime, whenever you need it

I have the same problem as you. What have you discussed with your doctor? He's recommended physio for me maybe that could be a rout for you. I'm in the UK but can get it on the NHS, I don't know what it's like for you but I think the best course is discuss it with your doctor.
Like Jeff I've considered an inversion table as well. There is an article about it at http://www.losethebackpain.com/inversion3.html
I'm right with you and I hope the pain gets better.
Jane

Re: Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression
In my experience (here in the UK), NHS doctors are a waste of time. I've had sciatica on and off for the last 5 years. My GP referred me to a physio and all he did was give me the standard exercises they give out to everyone (you know the ones). I wanted an MRI scan to confirm I have a herniated disc, and my GP would only send me for an x-ray (again, a complete waste of time). I'm now doing Alexander Technique sessions and have just bought a Nubax Trio. No improvement so far, but it's only been a week. I sympathise with anyone suffering from sciatica. It's a life changing condition
