hey remember me im tim the first guy in the failed surgery list ,i now a couple years later have been told i have arthritus of some kind in my spine ,left wrist is worse now it too needs to be fused asap i can not even use the left hand for anything not even petting the dog , had an MRI with contrast , that showed almost all the cartledge is gone in both low back and now left wrist im in horrible pain 24/7 im on oxycodone ,and fentanyl pain patches seem like a joke to me i doubt they work i feel the same on or off i hurt its fall and deer season now i have to watch the hunters drive by my home to go hunt deer ,somthing i did for 40 years now none done cant go id be a risk of a fall and cripple paralized is whats next for me i will end it all when im told to go sit in a wheel chair the dr says the word it's over nobody will know ill take the one way walk from this world to the next with my guns blazin what do you others with cartledge missing due to degeneration and arthritis i do not believe that drs under stand the back as well as they claim , the dr who chopped on me now plays piano in the lobby of some restaurant someplace ,another paitent saw his add and went to hear him operate on the piano keys he sucked was the term used to described his surgery on me and same for his piana playing he crippled me which led to worse stuff im about to lose my thrid wife , i complain too much of the pain and am mean when i can not do the things of everyday life , wife had me arrested for yelling at her this last august i had to explain to the judge that the fentanyl , and oxycodone i was on gave me mood swings i could not handle very well and i still can't but with out it's worse so the lesser of two evils take the pills and patch and use them as directed and suffer the rest in silence or by my self alone i dont smoke or drink any more but im gonna start right in soon as i can get something in my home to sip on if that don't help with the pain then it's pot till i go to sleep what the hell in my own home it's my buisness noone elses anything at this point to reduce the nast inflamation i have everywhere it can happen i have 2x as bad as the worst case you ever heard of , and yet others suffer the same and worse than me what the hell ill try anything at this point even suicide by cop if it comes to it

Yes I remember you and just wanted to stop by and say Hi.
So sorry to hear what you have been/are going through. I have a little understanding of this condition as my Mum has severe arthritis in her back and other places. It can be very painful for her-even on painkillers. She has had an op on her hands which has helped to some degree, but not a big fan of operations really. The advice she was given is to stay focused on moving forward and being as gently active as possible. She is reviewed regularly by her doctors as well.
