HI, I suffered from a slight disc buldge L5-S1 for a little over a year since march 2008. Lots of sharp pain and muscle spasm. Initially I went to physical therapy 2 times and that helped very little. After 2 cortisone injections in early 2010, LTBP system, and inversion therapy; sharp pain is completely gone. I have better flexebility and better range of motion in my lower back. So I sort of happy with these results after such a long period of time. Now, the only thing that is left is a little bit of muscle spasm which causes me soreness all day, especially after I do something too active or sit for long periods of time. When I massage my lower back in the spasm area I feel maybe like one or two knots and are very sensitive to touch and also prevents me from doing physical activity like going to the gym, jogging, running, and playing soccer. Also when I lift something, not necessarily too heavy I feel sore in that area. So after doing some research I suspect I have trigger points and purchased the trigger point system. I have used it fro one and a half weeks and the knot seems to be getting smaller. So my questionS ARE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THOSE KNOTS TO GO AWAY COMPLETELY? CAN i START PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LIKE JOGGING WHILE I AM USING THIS SYSTMEM? WILL RESUMING REGULAR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AT THE GYM WHILE GETTING RID OF THE KNOTS MAKE MY DISC BULDGE OUT AGAIN? THANKS

Jose, for one thing, you are a lot better. You seem to be doing better. Just keep up the muscle balancing. Take some up to date pictures so you are sure to balance the correct muscles. Also consider good nutrition and supplements. Your body needs the nutrients to continue to heal itself and maintain the progress you've made so far. I would also consider having your feet scanned to see if you have pronation in one or both of you feet. This is basically (fallen arches) which affects everyone. You probably should also be wearing shoe orthothics which balance your feet so the foundation of your spine is on a level footing. Keep up with your inversion as that will help. How is your weight? Remember every excess pound puts extra stress on your joints, your organs, and your spine. Keep a positive outlook too! Hope that helps.
