Back Pain at Night

Do you suffer from Back Pain at Night?

It’s sometimes easy to ignore the symptoms of back pain during the day. We can push the thoughts of pain in the back of our mind as we go through our daily routines of taking care of our children, going to work, taking care of the house and so forth. But, when the day winds down and we settle into bed, the pain is there, staring us in face and it’s hard not to think about anything else.

There are some effective remedies if you experience back pain at night. Try one remedy or combine a few of them for maximum relief. To begin, you can perform light stretches in bed, which will help loosen and stretch tight back muscles. For example, try to slowly bring your knees to your chest and hold them there for ten seconds at a time. If you find this too painful, try only one leg at a time. You can do this stretch both at night, before you go to bed, and in the morning to help relieve the pressure that is put on your back during sleep.

Try using a Far Infrared heating pad in bed thirty minutes prior to going to sleep. The heat from a far infrared heating pad penetrates deep into muscles and tissues, relaxing muscles and bringing healing heat to the sore and painful area.

Using an all natural pain cream is a great way to get instant temporary relief from back pain. It might be just the thing to help you reduce your back pain and fall asleep. Rub-on-Relief is an all natural back pain relief cream which contains 8 healing ingredients which provide pain relief. Unlike most pain creams, it has a light natural smell and does not contain any synthetic ingredients such as parabens, mineral oil or artificial fragrances.

Another great remedy for back pain at night is taking an Epsom Salt bath. Epsom Salt is an all natural salt which contains healing Magnesium and Sulfates. These ingredients provide many healing benefits such as easing stress, helps muscles and nerves function properly, helps prevent artery hardening and blood clots, reduces inflammation to relieve muscle cramps and relieve pain, improves oxygen use, flushes toxins, improves absorption of nutrients, and many more. Add two cups of Epsom Salt to any standard tub (more if you have a garden tub) and soak for at least 12-15 minutes.
