“77% of Back Surgeries Canceled…”

A recent study conducted at Newcastle University found that 77% of the patients were able to cancel their back surgeriesafter just 6 weeks of inversion therapy. Here’s just one example…Mary Luper of Salt Lake City, UT couldn’t take the pain anymore.

She was suffering from severe back pain and sciatica. The pain had made sleeping impossible. The burning stabbing pain ran down her legs. Doctors were discussing surgery with her as the only option.

Within just 1 week of using inversion therapy for just 6 minutes a day, her pain decreased considerably and she was sleeping again.

Within 4 weeks, she was PAIN FREE!

Inversion therapy is especially effective at decompressing the spine and helping to heal bulging or herniated discs. Literally millions of people have used inversion therapy to get rid of their back, neck and sciatic pain, often times in just days.

We recently had some friends visiting us from Wisconsin. The wife suffers from Sciatica, so I gave her my book The 7 Day Back Pain Cure and also forwarded her this info so hopefully she will be able to find some relief soon. Thank you for your helpful tools.

I have to thank you for this informative web site. So far, because I took your advice and purchased Heal and Soothe, I have had the first two good nights’ sleep that I have had in months. Also, the night leg cramping that I was suffering from is easing up, I think because of the muscle-balancing exercise. (I was already taking some mineral supplements, mainly calcium, magnesium and potassium and they helped, but didn’t eliminate the cramps). My life has improved tremendously since I found your website. Here’s to more of the same. I am spreading the word to those I know who have the need. Lots of members of my family suffer back pain. We thought we inherited the problem from our father who suffered excruciatingly most of his life.

I wanted to ask – and yes, I know you are not medical doctors – I will certainly ask my own MD the same. I have a very small hiatal hernia, but would very much like to use the whole back decompressing inversion table because I also have neck/shoulder issues. If I were to use it first thing in the morning (when my stomach is empty), at only about 15 degrees incline, might it not work for me?

Another wonderful ebook for FREE from you great people at the Healthy Back Institute!

I’m downloading this book right now and will be reading it later on today.

My disc is still having a slowwwww healing process, perhaps the information in this new ebook will help.

I finally found a way to contact you. I very much appreciate your efforts to help me. Your book “7 day back pain cure” was excellent. I have given the book to my son-in-law who has chronic back pain, but I have not got it back yet. I wanted to say that at one point in the book you refer to Resveratrol being a flavonoid, which it is not.. Resveratrol is a Stilbene. I just wanted to point this out as it may be important to be accurate.

Unfortunately I have no money so I can’t purchase your programs. I wanted to make use of your inversion suggestions or the anti-inflamation product Heal-n-Soothe.

Please continue to send me your suggestions as I shall definitely take advantage of them as soon as I am able.

    Thank you very much,
    Lawrence

  9. Admin says

    Hi Ambrose,

Thank you for your post and question. In this situation, with your incisional hernia, you are best seeking medical advice from a medical healthcare provider to see you to assess and discuss the best course of treatment for you.

    Thank you

  10. Jesse Cannone says

Bill: Yes, we have a page about degenerative disc disease on the site… go to the home page and click on “Conditions” tab… then you’ll find a link to it there.

    Hi Lee,

Thank you for your post and query.

Yes please discuss this with your MD first. Then if you wish, you would be best asking your specific questions via the link below using one of the support options. There, more personal support questions are considered with more privacy than on a public blog.

I have had two back surgeries for a herniated disk. After the second one I purchased an inversion table. I have to be honest that I don’t use it nearly as much as I should, but it did save my from a third surgery which would have been to fuse my spine. I recommend inversion to everyone!

  14. Barbara Bassett says

Thank you for the information for back complaints. I received the disc guide previously, the exercises also. I bought an inversion table which I do use. My serious back problems go back at least 10 years; a long list of problems. I also have rotatory scoliosis and another slight deformity which is working against me. Biggest problemm: Sudden pain in the left lower back which runs down the leg and causes it to buckle. A serious fall last Feb. caused a shoulder injury and led to surgery. Recently have had two injections, one in the SI joint which worked well. Also the test for nerve or muscle damage; none shown. I am on a narcotic for pain at night; pain keeps me awake or wakes me if I move wrong in sleep. No plans for more; will just keep on with what I am doing although excercise or activity seems to be my biggest enemy. I am sort of OK when I get up in the morning; activities of the day leave me “crippled” by days end. Sometimes it just is what it is. Barbara

My name is brandon and ive been dealing with a bulging disk for about 4 years now. I’m only 28 years old and ive tried everything. I bought an inversion table about 2 years ago and started using it everyday. The inversion table ended up making my back hurt alot worse than before i started using it. So after the first week of excruciating pain i stopped using the table. Did i not give it enough time to start working or was it really making my back worse. Now it has been so long that i have lived with the bulging disk that every move i make i can feel my back pop like crazy. Even my hip has started to pop when i walk. Please anybody have any suggestions. Anything!!!!!!!

My son has had an herniated disk in the middle of his back for two years and is not getting better. I just bought an inversion table, so he is going to try that.

What about your far infrared heating pad for my son’s back. He has tried everything to no avail. He was told that he could get better or he couldn’t get better. He has been to two neurosurgeons and they will not operate on him. So tough bananas. He is only 37 years old and what does he do now??????? Most herniated disks are down lower, – His H.D. is not in a place where the usual herniated disc is. If you could tell me about this heating pad and how much it is and do you mail to Canada, and if he should be using it. I would appreciate it very much.

    Thanks.

    Joanne

I suffered with bulging discs, sciatica, and pinched nerves in my lower back for 12 years before I discovered Prolotherapy and had 2 treatments, 6 wks apart. Tnen it took a couple months to heal before doing strengthening exercises, but there was almost no pain.
1 month after I got my life back, I was in a car accident which slid my spine to one side, turned it, and injured various back areas + 1 hip. My neck wouldn’t support my head after about 2 p.m. each day, and I had terrible headaches. This time I did Prolozone. The closest was a 4 1/2 hour drive. I had to get out of the car every 10-15 minutes because of the pain. On my return after the injections, I didn’t stop at all. All pain was gone, even the headaches. I was told to take it easy for a couple days before starting to exercise to rebuild my muscles. And not to push it. Instead of the usually recommended 3 treatments, 2 weeks apart, I was told I’d know if I needed another treatment. I have a few “weak” spots that will need to be treated again but the pain has never returned. I am 63 years old so never expected to be completely out of pain after 1 treatment. This is impressive! Research it and be careful to find a good doctor. Then try it. It has given me my life back.

I am impressed with what I have read about inversion therapy, but have been surfing the web for places to buy an inversion table in Israel as most sites do not deliver to Israel. Another added expense would be delivery as it is a heavy item.
Do you have any information as to suppliers in Israel?

Alternately , I have been reading aabout inversion using a Yogi swing? As this is easier to post what is your opinion versus the table
    Thank you

GREETINGS. I’ve had 2 bouts of sciatica — one about 5 years ago which lasted a couple of months, and one last year which lasted about 7 months. The 2nd one was TERRIBLE, with acute pain, weakness and numbness in my L leg, from the glut. max. right down through the sole of my foot, with explosive pins and needles ~85% of the time. I had a few free consults (I’m terribly poor so could not proceed with any real treatments), and every dr. said I had a “pronounced muscle imbalance.”

Well, I asked those drs how exercises that affected both sides of the body equally could “correct” a muscle imbalance, and I NEVER got a straight answer! Then (to my immense relief), the 2nd bout of sciatica suddenly just went away. I got my life back! But I never did a thing to treat the back, never did any exercises, etc.

NOW I wonder this: If I truly had a muscular “imbalance,” did that just go away too? Or is it still there, just lying in wait to set off another bout of sciatica when I least need one? I am trepidatious, but of course delighted that I now have NO back pain at all and haven’t had any for many months.

Thank you for the emails and advice, and for your dedication to helping back pain sufferers!

To whoever it might be of help I want to tell how I got pain free. I was suffering terribly from a sciatica, was unable to move and I ended up in a wheelchair. MDs had only one way for me, a risky surgery. I refused and went on reading a lot on my own. Jesse’s books and videos too. I also went to chiropractors, etc. Finally I got totally rid of all pain thinking as my bones and tendons might do: I took great care to change bad posture day in day out–knowing that it was a long term business. It wasn’t easy to correct old habits. And I went SWIMMING: just floating at first, then a bit more exercise, very straight, with great control… now I swim twice a week until I get bored. I feel better than ever before. I am back to my dayly activities, driving, walking, working… it is all gone.

I have both hips with no cartilege, bone on bone. I also have a bit of arthritis. My Dr. has advised me to not have hip surgery since I also have spinal stenosis. I am bent over a bit in my back because of the stenosis and that would remain even it I had the hip surgery he said. I also have some copd so oxygen is sometimes needed. That also, he said, would interefer with the healing of my hips due to the procedures needed to heal the hips. So…..now what can I do to keep myself out of a wheelchair in my future. My only real pain is when I am in motion…standing up, walking etc. Sitting or laying, again is only when I have to twist or turn. So, if I take 2 Aleve in the am or pm it is a relief during those times. Thank you so very much for reading this. I had ordered your book on back pain, quite a while ago and also ordered your Heal & Soothe, both of which I found helpful. So now I hope there is something that can help me with myn dilemma. Thank you again. PS: 83 yrs….5’8″…..140 lbs.

    Greta,

I really do not like anyone using the term Bone on Bone (Drs or Individuals) , it really sets you up to think nothing can be done to help your self… Even it is true

I highly suggest that you read the book if you have not already and implement, the Muscle Balance Therapy… The one technique can help your hip and back Issues…

You already have the answers, please start the process of developing your own the plan of action, as the book lays out a good frame work for you balance your pelvis and a pelvis that is balanced will work and feel so much better that you may just not believe that you have a condition that is Bone on Bone any more, but it will take effort on your part and at 83 it not to late…

    Steve
